My husband, Geoff, used to quote a book, “People remember experiences, not attributes,” which is a corporate-y way to say people remember how they FEEL, not the little details. People look at pictures to remember how they felt at that moment. Because so much emotion is pulled from a single image, I believe it is my job as a photographer to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. To see how that effortless look is achieved, keep reading!
Step 1. Let’s be friends!
It’s important to get to know each other. For you to get to know me and my style and for me to understand your story. The choice of wedding photographer is a personal one. It should feel like there’s a friend who understands the bustle of the moment and can capture the excitement while also blending into the group and background.
Step 2. Let’s make it official!
Once we know we are right for each other, the next step is making it official and locking in your date. This makes you a Truly Couple and a Truly Bride for life!
Step 3. Engagement Session
My wedding photography service always includes an engagement session. Think of this as a practice for the big day. I will teach you some posing so that everything looks effortless. Every couple is different, so it’s also a chance for me to see which poses work best for you too!
Step 4. Let’s talk timeline
I will walk you through the ideal timing for photos to make sure we are able to capture everything you want!
Step 5. Your wedding day!
The exciting day has arrived! It’s time to relax and celebrate!
